Rich began investigating with Oracle Paranormal Research Society in early 2010 and officially joined the team as Case Manager in June 2010.

Jerred Best - Investigator

Jerred BestJerred Best's Native American name is Swift Cloud (Muckqetu Mattauqus in the Narragansett language). He currently lives in Connecticut, USA, although he grew up in Rhode Island. He always had a fascination with the unknown. He has had a few unexplainable events as a child which lead him to believe that there is possibly a dimension or realm that spiritual energy from a past life of a person could exist and even occasionally effect us in our daily lives.

Being part Native American, he also has a strong belief in the spirit world and it's influential powers. He believes the Great Spirit is all around us, as well as within us, and that we have a connection to the spirits of our ancestors of past. Our thought, memories and daily actions are all controlled by electrical impulses of energy that do not necessarily become dormant when we die. This energy could be absorbed by objects and other people in close proximity to a person or animal who's body has come to it's final rest. Or else it could simply manifest outside the body and maybe retain it's usual shape, and perform it's usual actions. Hence, a ghost or spirit formation, or energy that inadvertently alters it's surroundings to create a visual effect to the living eye. This is his theory of why we might have spiritual encounters, and that is why he enjoys studying and experimenting with the paranormal phenomenon. The answers are out there, we just have to find them.

Peter Batanero - Investigator

Peter BataneroPeter Batanero was born and raised in the UK, never really believed in ghosts until he was sent away to school. The first school he was in was a former World War II hospital. It still had the wide doors from the dorms and a mortuary in the basement. He always got the feeling of being followed and would hear footsteps late at night. The second school was a former monastry, shut by Henry the 8th, and was the place of Peter's first paranormal experience. Late one night, he saw a monk sitting on a windowsill in his dorm. After that, he became interested in the paranormal. It wasn't until he had moved to the United States and met the Oracle Paranormal Research Society team where he realized he wasn't alone in my quest for information.
